Terms of Service

Last updated: June 9, 2026

What PawsKeeper is

PawsKeeper is an online platform that helps pet care businesses — dog walkers, boarders, trainers, groomers, and more — manage bookings, communicate with clients, send report cards, and process payments. We also give pet owners a simple way to find, book, and stay connected with the businesses they trust.

Anyone 18 or older can create an account. Business owners use PawsKeeper to run their operations; pet owners use it to book services and communicate with their providers.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account. If you are a business owner, you are also responsible for the accuracy of your business information, service descriptions, pricing, and availability.

Pet owners are responsible for providing accurate information about themselves and their pets, including health conditions, behavior notes, and emergency contacts. False or misleading information can put pets and people at risk.

Payment terms

PawsKeeper charges business owners a monthly or annual subscription fee to access premium workspace features. All subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Settings page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Payments between pet owners and businesses (for walks, boarding, training, etc.) are handled directly by the business through integrated payment providers like Stripe. PawsKeeper does not hold these funds and is not responsible for refunds, disputes, or chargebacks related to individual services.

What PawsKeeper is not responsible for

PawsKeeper is a software platform, not a pet care provider. We do not employ, vet, or supervise the businesses or individuals who use our platform. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or outcome of any pet care service arranged through PawsKeeper.

Any disputes about service quality, injuries, lost items, or dissatisfaction must be resolved directly between the pet owner and the business. PawsKeeper may, at our discretion, help facilitate communication, but we are not a party to those agreements.

Acceptable use

You may not use PawsKeeper to commit fraud, create fake accounts, harass other users, send spam, upload illegal content, or attempt to breach our security. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules without notice.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your Settings page. We may also suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or engage in behavior that harms other users or the platform. Upon termination, your right to use PawsKeeper stops immediately, but provisions related to liability, intellectual property, and governing law survive.

Intellectual property

PawsKeeper owns the platform, code, design, branding, and all related intellectual property. Businesses retain ownership of their own content — names, logos, photos, service descriptions, and client data. By using PawsKeeper, you grant us a limited license to display and process your content solely to operate the service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
